OMMC EARNED AWARDS, RECOGNITIONS FROM BOTH LOCAL AND INTERNATIONAL FIRMS
The Ospital ng Maynila Medical Center has continuously earning the respect of various departments both in the country and international.
Under the leadership of Dr. Aileen Lacsamana, and through the efforts of all the departments, the hospital received several recognitions and awards for providing high quality services.
NQA Philippines, a global certification body, has passed the Ospital ng Maynila Medical Center for the Stage 1 and Stage 2 Audit for ISO 9001:2015.
This proves that the hospital provides a high quality and excellent healthcare service to the public, anchored to a global standard.
In the country, the Department of Health gave several recognitions to the hospital.
One of these is the very satisfactory rating for the over-all potential as a healthcare facility under the DOH's Integrated Hospital Operations and Management Program (IHOMP).
When it comes to climate, the DOH also gave the hospital a 4-star award - tagging OMMC as a champion in climate practice.
This award was echoed by the Department of Energy as the hospital obtained a 3-star rating for implementing energy efficient practices during the Government Energy Management Program (GEMP) audit.
The Commission on Audit has also commended the efforts of the hospital in processing and collecting of Philhealth claims that greatly benefit its patients.
As for the part of the Philippine Blood Center, OMMC became the recipient of the Gabriela Silang, an award given to medical facilities who collected 100-199 blood units.
